About The Event

Foraging for and using edible plants is not something new. But it is something we have to newly discover as over time this tradition got lost and forgotten. The nutritional value of store bought food is decreasing due to the way it is produced and we have to look at other sources for getting some good stuff into our body.

Well, it's all out there in abundance ready for the picking right at your doorstep. Kindly provided by Mother Nature free of charge. In this workshop you will learn how to safely identify between 8-10 different edible weeds that grow in most gardens and outdoor areas. Get inspired on how to incorporate those amazing weeds into your diet and find out about some of their medicinal properties and what else you can do with them.

Included in the workshop is a booklet for you to keep so you can always refer back to what you've learned on the day.

Rain or Sunshine ... unless there is a massive storm the workshop will go ahead so make sure to bring appropriate clothing.

A light lunch using some of the edible weeds will be provided.
